The Joker is one of the most beloved and iconic characters in comic books and is one who is synonymous with crimefighting and heroism.
While he has a wide variety of powers, including the ability to transform into his trademark bat-like form, he’s more known for his trademark laugh and his signature smile.
In the film, The Joker will receive the treatment to his facial features in a treatment which will be filmed in Los Angeles in October.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that director Guillermo del Toro and his team of talented collaborators will be shooting the scene.
The studio says it will begin shooting the film in early November and is expected to be completed by mid-December.
The film is currently in pre-production and will be released in theaters by early 2019.
The story follows Joker, played by Will Arnett, as he teams up with a young woman named Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and a masked gangster known as the Clown Prince of Crime (Charlie Hunnam) to take on The Joker in a bloody, crime-ridden amusement park.
